I am a 1982 graduate of Aiken High School. After college I spent the next several years in Europe working for the Directorate of Logistics. I also worked as a Civilian Contractor for the Department of Defense in Texas.
In 1990, I began working for Macy's Credit and Customer Service where I am currently a Collections Supervisor.
At an early age I expressed an interest in speaking which began at the New Jerusalem Baptist Church where my spiritual foundation began. Throughout the years I have perfected my speaking abilities.
In 1999 I was diagnosed with MS and my focus changed. After the untimely death of my brother in 2002, I found myself as the family's spokesperson regarding this tragedy. At this point I started to question my purpose in life.
